Boulder Filmmaking Incubator - A Resource for Independent and Emergent Filmmakers

About Us

The Boulder Filmmaking Incubator was founded in 2006 by award winning Director/Producer, Marianne Leviton, whose vision is to remove filmmakers from their creative isolation through building a network of like-minded individuals.

Ms. Leviton states, "Creating a filmmaking incubator is a terrific way to give back to your filmmaking community.  Bringing together filmmakers from all stages of experience supports and empowers our creative processes.  And when the going gets tough... you can count on your colleagues for a good laugh or the needed pat on the back (or kick in the pants!)

Having directed and produced more than a dozen narrative shorts, and winning numerous awards, Marianne's current projects include two feature documentaries:  "Iron Justice"- the story of an Old West town and "Connected for Life" -the heart warming story about friends - one needing a kidney and one giving his (TakeHopeProject.org); a series of Public Service Announcements for Organ Donation;  a regional commercial; and several BFI movie projects.
